  • Low-fat curd cheese (tvarog)150 g
  • Honey14 g

Method

  1. Turn the oven on to 180 °C to heat up (about 10 min). Wash the apples (2 pcs) and cut out the cores with a knife, leaving the bottoms intact.
  2. Mix the curd cheese (tvarog) (150 g) with the honey (14 g, about 2 tsp) and cinnamon.
  3. Fill the apples with the curd cheese, put them in a small baking dish and pour 2–3 tbsp of water into the bottom.
  4. Bake in the oven at 180 °C for 20–25 min until the apples are soft but not falling apart. Let them cool for 5 min before eating.

Tips

  • Choose tart, firm apples – they won't fall apart in the oven.
  • Call the grandkids over – this is a dessert just about everyone eats.
