What would you like?

Why do we ask? So we know whether to plan a calorie deficit or not. We won't try to sell you anything based on your answer – promise.

About the quiz

Is the nutrition quiz really free?

Yes. You see your result straight away, with no payment and no email. We'll only ask for your email if you want to save your plan for the Dumpli app yourself.

Where do my answers go?

They stay in your browser. You only send them to us if you tick a separate box when you become a Dumpli ambassador. Health answers (conditions, allergies, sleep, the eating questionnaire, your waist) are never sent.

How do you choose the recipes?

Strict rules come first: allergens (all 14 that EU law requires on food labels), your diet choice and what you don't like. A recipe that breaks them is never shown to you. From the ones that fit, we pick those whose portion best fits your calories, that have more protein, fibre and vegetables, that fit your time and budget, and that don't repeat. For every recipe, we tell you why we suggested it.

Can I trust the allergy filter?

We don't suggest recipes with your allergens, and if you've had severe reactions we also remove products that often contain traces. But what's in shop-bought products depends on the manufacturer and can change, so always check the label yourself – we'd rather tell you that honestly.

Why does the chart show such a slow pace?

Because realistic, lasting weight loss is about 0.3–0.5 kg a week. Faster promises usually end in hunger and the weight coming back.

Why do you ask about my waist, sleep or medicines?

Because medical guidelines (such as the UK's NICE guideline from 2025) say that your waist-to-height ratio tells you more about your health than BMI, and sleep, medicines and eating habits have a big effect on weight. Every answer changes something in your plan – otherwise we wouldn't ask.
