Ingredients (serves 1)

  • Tofu (firm)120 g
  • Rapeseed / sunflower oil4 g

Also: Smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 200 °C (about 10 min) and line a tray with baking paper. Pat the tofu dry with kitchen paper and cut it into 2 cm cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu with 4 g oil (less than a teaspoon), smoked paprika, garlic powder and a little salt.
  3. Spread the cubes in a single layer on the tray. Bake at 200 °C for 20–25 min, stirring halfway, until golden and crispy.
  4. Let them cool for 2–3 min and eat. If you made extra, keep leftovers in the fridge in a closed container.

Tips

  • Press and pat the tofu well – the drier it is, the crispier it gets.
  • Bake the whole pack – it keeps for 3 days in the fridge and works in salads too.
  • Want it hotter? A pinch of chilli powder along with the paprika.
