Porridge with apple (dairy-free)

The same cosy porridge, just made with soya drink. Vegan and creamy.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • Rolled oats50 g
  • Soya drink (unsweetened)200 ml
  • Apple120 g
  • Ground linseed10 g

Also: Cinnamon, a pinch of salt

Method

  1. Pour the soya drink over the oats and add the grated apple and a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook over low heat for 4–5 min, stirring now and then.
  3. Sprinkle with flaxseed and cinnamon.

Tips

  • Add the grated apple along with the oats – the porridge will be sweeter without any sugar.
  • Soak it the night before and leave it in the fridge – in the morning just heat it up.
  • More protein? Stir in a spoonful of peanut butter.
  • Want it lighter? Swap half the drink for water.
