Ingredients (serves 1)

  • Semolina40 g
  • Milk 2.5%250 ml
  • Frozen mixed berries100 g

Also: A pinch of salt, vanilla

Method

  1. Bring the milk and a pinch of salt to the boil over medium heat (about 3–4 min), keeping an eye on it so it doesn't boil over.
  2. Turn the heat down to low. Stirring all the time, pour in the semolina in a thin stream and cook for 3–4 min until thick.
  3. Add the berries and serve.

Tips

  • Pour the semolina into the boiling milk in a thin stream and keep stirring – no lumps.
  • Frozen berries added to hot porridge cool it down a little – you can eat it straight away.
  • Want it lighter? Swap half the milk for water.
  • More protein? 3 spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt on top.
